Scope
This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and packaging, marking, storage, transportation, and quality certificates for graphite anodes. This standard applies to graphite anodes made from petroleum coke, asphalt coke, and coal tar as the main raw materials, which are formed, calcined multiple times, high-pressure impregnated, graphitized heat-treated, and mechanically refined. They are mainly used as conductive anodes for the electrolysis of sodium chloride, potassium chloride, and magnesium chloride.
