GB/T 20501.3-2017 Public information guidance systems—Design principles and requirements for guidance elements—Part 3:Location plans

Scope

This part of GB/T 20501 specifies the design principles and components of plane schematic diagrams of guidance elements in public information guidance systems, including the design requirements for map titles, main maps, legends, overview maps, etc. It also provides test methods for evaluating the design of plane schematic diagrams. This part is applicable to the design of plane schematic diagrams in public places such as urban entrances and exits (e.g., civil airports, railway passenger stations), urban transportation (e.g., public transportation hubs and stations), urban public services and leisure facilities (e.g., shopping venues, medical facilities, sports venues, entertainment venues, hotels and restaurants, tourist attractions, parking lots), etc. The design of plane schematic diagrams in workplaces can be used as a reference. This part is not applicable to the design of three-dimensional schematic diagrams or evacuation floor plans.
