Scope

This standard specifies the measurement requirements, measurement and testing procedures, measurement and testing methods, evaluation criteria for measurement and testing results, and testing reports for the energy efficiency of electric rice cookers operating under normal pressure, heated by electric heating elements or electromagnetic induction, with a rated power not exceeding 2,000 W.
This standard applies to the measurement and supervision of the energy efficiency of electric rice cookers. Units entrusted with testing may refer to this standard for reference. Units producing and selling electric rice cookers may also conduct testing in accordance with this standard.
The electric rice cookers subject to testing shall be products that have passed the manufacturer's self-inspection, or goods imported and sold by sellers.
