Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and packaging, storage, transportation, marking, and quality certificates for chromium iron. This standard applies to chromium iron used in steelmaking or casting as an alloying additive, including micro-carbon chromium iron, low-carbon chromium iron, medium-carbon chromium iron, high-carbon chromium iron, and vacuum-processed micro-carbon chromium iron.
