Scope

This document describes the method for determining the content of 5-ethynyl-norbornene (ENB) or dicyclopentadiene (DCPD) in ethylene-propylene-diene monomer (EPDM) tercopolymer.
This document is suitable for determining the content of diene in EPDM tercopolymer within the range of 0.1% to 10%.
Note: The difference between the methods for determining the content of ENB and DCPD lies in the location of the quantitative infrared peaks.
