GB/T 16895.13-2022 Low-voltage electrical installations—Part 7-701:Requirements for special installations or locations—Locations containing a bath or shower

Scope

The special requirements of this document apply to electrical installations with bathtubs and/or showers indoors or outdoors, where the bathtubs and/or showers are intended to be permanently installed in specific locations.
The scope of the areas equipped with bathtubs and/or showers includes:
——the lowest floor finish surface;
——the horizontal plane 3 m above the lowest floor finish surface;
——a virtual vertical surrounding surface maintained at a distance of 4 m from the fixed outlets of the bathtubs or showers; and
——the minimum thickness of the solid walls, floors, and ceilings adjacent to the areas equipped with bathtubs or showers must be 6 cm.
