Scope
This document specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for sodium α-olefin sulfonate (abbreviated as AOS).
This document is applicable to sodium α-olefin sulfonate used in washing and other fields, which is produced by the gas sulfonation process using sulfur trioxide membrane from single-carbon or mixed-carbon α-olefins with a chain length of C12 to C18.
