GB/T 26251-2010 Fluorine and mixed gases of fluorine-nitrogen
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements for fluorine and fluorine-nitrogen mixtures, test methods, and requirements for packaging, marking, storage, transportation, and safety. This standard applies to fluorine obtained by electrolyzing anhydrous hydrogen fluoride and subjecting it to purification processes. Fluorine is used in the preparation of fluorides such as uranium hexafluoride, sulfur hexafluoride, boron trifluoride, silver fluoride, cobalt trifluoride, and magnesium trifluoride, and can also be used in fields such as laser gas or plastic fluorination processing. Fluorine-nitrogen mixtures are prepared using the pressure method. The mixtures are mainly used for fluorinating materials in the automotive and pharmaceutical industries. The molecular formula of fluorine is F2. The relative molecular mass of fluorine is 37.996 806 4 (calculated based on the 2007 International Atomic Weight Table).
