Scope
This document specifies a set of compact encoding rules that can be used to derive transmission syntax for the type values defined in GB/T 16262.1—2025. These compact encoding rules are also applicable to decoding such transmission syntax in order to identify the transmitted data values.
The encoding rules specified in this document:
——Are used during communication;
——When selecting encoding rules, the size of the minimum value representation is the primary consideration;
——For all extended forms described in GB/T 16262.1—2025, when encoding existing values, it is allowed to extend the abstract syntax by adding additional values;
——Can be modified in accordance with ISO/IEC 8825-6:2021.
