Scope

This standard specifies the terminology and definitions of Casuarina species, seedling cultivation, afforestation, management and care, and archiving requirements.
This standard is applicable to the cultivation of short-branched Casuarina (Casuarina equisetifolia L.A.S. Johnson), fine-branched Casuarina (C. cunninghamiana Miq.), coarse-branched Casuarina (C. glauca Sieber ex. Spreng), mountainous Casuarina (C. junghuhniana Miq.), mountainous Casuarina (C. collina Poiss ex.Panch. & Seb), rooster-comb Casuarina (C. cristata Miq.), fat Casuarina (C. obesa Miq.), small-toothed Casuarina (C.oligodon L.A.S. Johnson), large Casuarina (C.grandis L.A.S.
