Scope
This standard specifies the dimensional tolerances of thermoset and thermoplastic plastic molded parts (hereinafter referred to as molded parts). This standard applies to plastic molded parts made by injection molding, compression molding, transfer molding, and casting molding. It does not apply to parts made by extrusion molding, blow molding, sintering, and foaming molding.
