Scope
This standard specifies a method for measuring the trapping magnetic field (trapping magnetic flux density) of bulk high-temperature superconductors.
This standard is applicable to the evaluation of the trapping magnetic flux density of large-grained bulk oxide superconductors with regular shapes, such as discs, cylinders, rectangular blocks, and regular hexagonal prisms, within a temperature range of 4.2 K to 90 K. For the purpose of standardization, only the trapping magnetic flux density at liquid nitrogen temperature is reported.
