Scope

This document specifies the requirements for physical connections and the use of related pins to enable standard access to OBD data. This document applies to the on-board diagnostic standard that requires road vehicles to be equipped with standard connectors for external testing devices to access OBD information in accordance with the GB/T 42193.4 standard. Appendices A and B are for reference only and do not require the implementation of emission-related OBD.
