Scope: This document specifies the inspection requirements, inspection cycle, inspection items, pressure testing, comprehensive evaluation, inspection report, and problem handling for regular inspections of in-service polyethylene (PE) gas pipelines (hereinafter referred to as pipelines). This document applies to in-service polyethylene pipelines with a working temperature of -20°C to 40°C, a working pressure of 0.1MPa to 0.8MPa, and a project diameter of 50mm to 630mm, which transport natural gas, artificial gas, or liquefied petroleum gas.
