GB/T 44808.1-2024 Ergonomics—Accessible design—Part 1:Spoken instructions of consumer products
Basic Information
Scope
This document specifies the ergonomic requirements and recommendations for voice prompts in consumer products. Voice prompts in consumer products can be used to guide users in operating products and/or provide feedback on product status, regardless of whether the user has visual impairments. At the same time, these voice prompts can also assist users with reading difficulties and/or cognitive impairments. The requirements and recommendations given in this document apply to all languages and various methods of generating voice prompts, whether they are recorded by human voices or synthesized by voice. The requirements and recommendations given in this document generally apply to ordinary consumer products used independently, whose functions may be limited due to the user's difficulty in connecting, installing, or using assistive technologies for convenience. This document does not apply to machines and equipment used for professional work. This document does not apply to products whose prompt content and/or presentation methods are specified in other standards (such as medical devices, fire alarms), nor do the recommendations or requirements apply to interactive voice response (IVR) systems or voice prompts from digital assistants on personal computers or similar devices. This document does not specify the voice of text-to-speech systems, nor does it specify the voice of narrative explanations used instead of printed manuals and independently of the product.
