This document specifies the principles of the test method for the quality of the zinc coating per unit area of steel products, the test solution, the samples, the selection of the test method, the test steps and the calculation of the results, the reproducibility, and the test report.
This document is applicable to zinc coatings, zinc-iron alloy coatings, zinc-magnesium alloy coatings, zinc-aluminum-magnesium alloy coatings, aluminum-zinc alloy coatings, and aluminum-zinc-magnesium alloy coatings.
Other coating products such as aluminum-silicon alloy coatings should be implemented in accordance with this document.
