Scope

1.1 This standard specifies the sampling, digestion, and instrumental analysis methods for determining the total content of specific elements (antimony, arsenic, barium, cadmium, chromium, lead, mercury, and selenium) in toy materials and toy components.
Note: Other specific elements can be measured using the testing methods in this standard after verification. Manufacturers are encouraged to conduct compliance assessments of the raw materials used in toy production according to the testing methods in this standard and the limits specified in GB 6675.4-2014, in order to increase the likelihood of their products meeting the requirements of GB 6675.4-2014.
