Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, quality assurance provisions, packaging, marking, transportation, and storage requirements for copper-clad polyimide-glass fiber laminates used in printed circuits (hereinafter referred to as copper-clad boards). This standard applies to copper-clad boards with a thickness of 0.05 mm to 6.4 mm, which are made of modified or unmodified polyimide resin as a binder and E-glass fiber as a reinforcing material.
