Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions of soil environmental damage appraisal and evaluation, the principles of appraisal and evaluation, the general requirements for appraisal and evaluation, the investigation and determination of soil environmental damage, the analysis of causality, the quantification of soil environmental damage, the quantification of the value of soil environmental damage, the preparation of appraisal and evaluation reports, and the evaluation of restoration effects. This standard applies to the appraisal and evaluation of soil environmental damage caused by polluted soil (excluding groundwater). This standard does not apply to the appraisal and evaluation of soil environmental damage caused by nuclear and radiation.
