本文件未提供故意伤害（如虐待儿童)，或心理伤害（如恐吓)等非身体形式伤害，以及如何最大程度降低残疾儿童意外伤害风险或严重程度的指导，不涉及产生上述情况的经济后果的考虑。
本文件适用于指导在标准化文件编制时，针对与儿童交互的产品的标准化文件的编制，也适用于在产品的设计、生产时，考虑儿童安全因素。
