The chapter of GB/T 2099.1-2008 is replaced by the following: This part specifies the technical requirements for safety extra-low voltage (SELV) plugs and sockets for household and similar use, including rated values, marking, protection against electric shock, structure, electrical performance, mechanical performance, etc. This part applies to safety extra-low voltage (SELV) plugs and sockets for indoor or outdoor use, household and similar use, with a voltage range of 6 V to 48 V (including 48 V), direct current or alternating current (50/60 Hz), and a rated current not exceeding 16 A. It also applies to fixed or mobile plugs and socket outlets, and appliance socket outlets.
