Scope
This part of GB/T 19228 specifies the classification and marking, types and dimensions, technical requirements, testing, inspection, packaging, transportation, and storage of stainless steel compression fittings (hereinafter referred to as fittings).
This part is applicable to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of stainless steel compression fittings for drinking water, domestic water, cold water, hot water, seawater, gas, and medical gas pipelines with a nominal size not exceeding DN 100 and a nominal pressure not exceeding PN 16.
