Scope
This document specifies the classification and marking, structural types and dimensions, technical requirements, testing, inspection, and packaging, transportation, and storage of stainless steel compression fittings (hereinafter referred to as fittings).
This document is applicable to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of stainless steel compression fittings used in water supply systems with a nominal size not exceeding DN100 and a nominal pressure not exceeding PN25, including domestic drinking water, direct drinking water from pipes, drainage, domestic hot water, cold water, seawater, gas, and medical gases.
