Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the content of 2,6-dibutyl-4-methylphenol antioxidant in jet fuel using differential pulse voltammetry.
This standard is applicable to jet fuels with a 2,6-dibutyl-4-methylphenol content of 8 mg/L to 31 mg/L.
This standard can also be used to determine the content of 2,6-dibutyl-4-methylphenol in jet fuels outside this range, but the precision has not been evaluated.
