Scope

This standard specifies the classification and models, materials and structures, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, warnings, and instructions, as well as packaging, transportation, and storage of outdoor gas-fired combustion appliances (hereinafter referred to as "combustion appliances").
This standard applies to gas-fired combustion appliances used outdoors that operate on gas and have a rated heat load of no more than 50 kW.
