Scope

This standard specifies the design requirements for the power supply of AC arc furnaces, main step-down substations, and AC arc furnace power systems.
This standard applies to the power supply and distribution systems of AC arc furnaces with a capacity of not less than 70 tons, which are supplied by voltages of 330 kV and below. AC arc furnaces of other capacities can refer to this standard for implementation.
