Scope

This part of GB/T 21715 specifies the basic structure of the data contained in the extended clinical data objects, but does not stipulate or specify the specialized data sets used for storage in devices.
This part applies to the data recorded or transmitted by the patient health card, which is consistent with the physical size of various ID1 cards defined in GB/T 14916.
In order to promote interoperability, once an application compliant with GB/T 21715 is established for the healthcare field, the data items required by the application should be taken from the object columns given in Chapters 6 and 7 (some of which are extensible). These data items are used in conjunction with the data defined in other parts of GB/T 21715.
