Scope

This document specifies the technical requirements, test methods, labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage for bathing equipment in infant and children's products.
This document applies to bath tubs (including inflatable bath tubs, foldable bath tubs, etc.), bath buckets, bath seats, bath recliners, bath mats, stands, suction cups, handrails, etc., intended for use by children under 6 years old when bathing.
This document does not apply to bathing equipment and its accessories designed for infants and children with special needs in hospitals, rehabilitation institutions, etc., nor to other components or products not intended to support infants during bathing, such as washbasins, soap holders, towel racks, water pumps, shower handles, toys, etc.
Note: The provisions of the relevant technical requirements for bathing equipment in infant and children's products are described in Appendix A.
