Scope

This document describes the principles, instruments, sampling, operating procedures, result presentation, and test reports for measuring the deposition efficiency of powder coatings.
This document is applicable to powders charged by corona or friction in powder coatings, and can be used to compare the deposition efficiency of different powders under the same spray gun, or to compare the deposition efficiency of the same powder under different spray guns.
Note: This is only used for comparison during continuous evaluation of powders or spray guns. The impact of the environment and equipment can vary significantly over time and location.
