Scope

This part of GB/T 21782 specifies the method for determining the mass fraction of powder actually deposited on the target tube under standard conditions when using an electrostatic spray gun to spray powder onto the target tube. This method is applicable to powder coatings applied using either corona charging or friction charging. This method can be used to compare the deposition efficiency of the same spray gun with different powders or of different spray guns with the same powder. This method should only be used for comparisons during continuous evaluation of powders or spray guns, as the effects of environmental and equipment factors can vary significantly over time and across different geographical locations.
