Scope

This procedure is applicable to the detection of the strength of ordinary concrete in engineering construction in Sichuan Province. When there are requirements for the detection of the strength of structural concrete, the detection can be carried out in accordance with this procedure, and the detection results can be used as one of the bases for dealing with concrete quality issues. This procedure is applicable to the compression strength detection of ordinary concrete with an age of more than 14 days and a strength of (15~60) MPa. Under the condition of using drilled core specimens for verification, the strength of structural concrete with a longer age can be detected and estimated in accordance with this procedure. However, it is not applicable to the detection of the strength of structural concrete that has become loose or peeling due to frost damage, chemical erosion, fire, etc.
