Scope

This part of GB/T 24818 specifies the special requirements for the passageways and safety protection facilities of boom cranes (hereinafter referred to as cranes). GB/T 24818.1 defines the general requirements for cranes defined in GB/T 6974.1 to enter the control cabin and other parts during normal operation, inspection, maintenance, installation, and disassembly. It also specifies the general requirements for safety protection facilities to prevent personnel on or near the crane from being injured by moving parts, falling objects, or rotating parts. This part applies to boom cranes defined in GB/T 6974.1.
