Scope
This procedure is applicable to the initial verification, subsequent verification, and in-use inspection of micrometers with a graduation value of 0.01 mm or a resolution of 0.001 mm, a measuring head display range of 13 mm, 25 mm, or 50 mm, and a maximum measuring limit of no more than 6,000 mm, including internal diameter micrometers with connecting rods, single-rod internal diameter micrometers, digital display internal diameter micrometers with connecting rods, and digital display single-rod internal diameter micrometers (hereinafter referred to as "internal diameter micrometers").
