Scope
This standard specifies the classification of restricted substances in foot protection shoes (boots), the grading of safety requirements, the restricted substances and their categories in shoes (boots), safety requirements, testing methods, and inspection reports.
This standard applies to shoes (boots) that protect the wearer's feet and legs from hazards in the work area.
This standard does not apply to shoes (boots) containing electronic and electrical components, and it does not include chemical analysis of metal components.
