Scope

This document specifies the classification, requirements, marking, packaging, and product quality certificates of mechanical connectors for reinforcing bars. This document applies to straight-threaded, conical-threaded, and extruded connectors used for mechanical connections of reinforcing bars in concrete structures. The mechanical connections of the reinforcing bars meet the requirements of GB/T 1499.2, GB/T 33953, GB/T 33959, and GB/T 13014 for diameters of 12 mm to 50 mm. For connectors used with other types of reinforcing bars, please refer to the relevant implementation guidelines for reference.
