Scope

This document specifies the requirements for the application, inspection, training, maintenance, repair, and safe operation (hereinafter referred to as "safe use") of off-road non-rotating telescopic forklifts (hereinafter referred to as "forklifts") defined in ISO 10896-1.
Other parts of GB/T 38055 cover the connection devices of rotating forklifts, off-road forklifts, and integrated personnel working platforms that can be installed on off-road forklifts, as well as the safety requirements for the safe use of off-road forklifts capable of suspending freely swinging loads.
This document is not applicable to truck-mounted forklifts.
