Scope
This document specifies the structure and dimensions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, markings, and packaging and storage of landing booms used on the St. Lawrence Seaway (hereinafter referred to as landing booms).
This document applies to the design, manufacture, and acceptance of landing booms used on ships navigating on the St. Lawrence Seaway with a total length of more than 50 m and a freeboard of not less than 2 m.
