Scope
This part of GB/T 34520 specifies the test environment, samples, testing equipment and materials, testing procedures, calculation of test results, and test reports for measuring the diameter of continuous silicon carbide (SiC) single fibers using the sectional method (Method A), the radial method (Method B), and the micrometer method (Method C). This part is applicable to the diameter testing of nearly round solid continuous SiC single fibers.
