Scope

This standard specifies the safety and hygiene requirements for teaching writing boards (chalkboards and whiteboards), the appearance quality of writing boards, their structure, classification, installation, marking, user manuals, and testing methods, etc.
This standard applies to writing boards used in ordinary classrooms, laboratories, and other specialized classrooms in schools at all levels and types. Writing boards used in other teaching activities, communication, note-taking, and publicity can be used as a reference.
This standard does not apply to signage and electronic memory transmission display writing boards.
