Scope
This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging, transportation, and storage of roving spindles and spindle wings for roving machines. This standard applies to the spindles and spindle wings (hereinafter referred to as "spindle wings") of cotton, wool, and chemical fiber pure or blended roving machines.
