Scope

This standard specifies the quality indicators of sweet almonds (large flat almonds) and bitter almonds (mountain almonds) from four varieties of edible apricots, including Longwangmao, Yifeng, Baiyu Bian, and Youyi, including the average quality of almond kernels, color, flavor, crushing rate, unripe rate, insect damage rate, mold damage rate, impurity rate, foreign species rate, moisture content, and aflatoxin, etc. This standard applies to the production, marketing, and import and export of edible apricot kernels. This standard does not apply to fresh-eating apricot varieties.
