Scope

This document specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for dimethylsiloxane polycyclic rings.
This document applies to dimethylsiloxane polycyclic rings prepared from dimethyldichlorosilane through hydrolysis and cracking with hydrochloric acid. Dimethylsiloxane polycyclic rings are primarily composed of hexamethylcyclotrisiloxane, octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane, decamethylcyclopentasiloxane, and dodecamethylcyclohexasiloxane components (referred to as total cyclic rings).
