Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and models, structure and materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and instructions, packaging, transportation, and storage of gas heaters (hereinafter referred to as "heaters").
This standard applies to heaters using gas specified in GB/T 13611, including:
a) household heaters with a rated heat input not exceeding 20 kW;
b) non-household heaters with a rated heat input not exceeding 120 kW per burner.
This standard does not apply to heaters for outdoor use, condensing heaters, heaters designed specifically for industrial purposes, or heaters used in moving transportation vehicles.
