Scope
This document describes the principle of measuring rock capillary pressure curves, specifies the three experimental steps and technical requirements for rock capillary pressure curves, the method of processing experimental data, and the technical specifications of measuring instruments. It also presents the characteristics and limitations of various methods of measuring capillary pressure curves. This document is applicable to the constant-pressure mercury injection method for cemented cores, the constant-speed mercury injection method and the semi-permeable diaphragm method for cores with air permeability not less than 0.1 mD, and the centrifuge method for cores with air permeability not less than 5 mD. Other cores can refer to this document for implementation.
