Scope
This part of GB/T 17257 specifies the requirements and testing methods for the following open-type and closed-type urine collection bags:
a) Urine collection bags worn on the body (wearing type);
b) Urine collection bags suspended by hooks or floor stands (non-wearing type).
This part does not apply to urethral reconstruction surgery, or urine collection bags for women and children.
