Scope

This part of GB/T 21412 specifies the design, manufacturing, and operation requirements for the topside flowline (TFL) system and equipment, and provides corresponding recommended practices.
The procedures and requirements covered in this part apply to downhole equipment, subsea Christmas trees and flowline hangers, and hydraulic operations of flowlines (including equipment within the pipeline).
This part mainly describes the application of the TFL system at sea and underwater, and it can also be used in other situations, such as high-angle wells and horizontal wells.
This part does not cover the related content of underwater separation, pressurization, metering, and downhole pumping.
