Scope

This document specifies the requirements and guidelines for the machine control devices directly operated by the driver of earthmoving machinery as defined in ISO 6165. It stipulates the control devices operated by fingers, hands, or feet, but does not restrict the application of other control forms, control positions, or control actions.
This document does not apply to devices that are not directly related to machine control.
