Scope

This standard specifies the requirements and guidelines for the main control devices used by earthmoving machinery operators, as defined in GB/T 8498 (for machines controlled by remote control, see ISO 15817:2005). This standard sets out requirements for control devices operated by fingers, hands, or feet, but does not limit the application of other control forms, control positions, or control actions. However, it is recommended that the layout of control devices should comply with the general requirements and principles of driver safety and human ergonomics.
