Scope

This standard specifies the types and models, technical requirements, test methods and requirements, inspection rules, marking requirements, coating requirements, storage and safe use regulations, etc. of steel seamless gas cylinder cluster devices (hereinafter referred to as cluster devices).
This standard applies to cluster devices filled with compressed gases and high-pressure liquefied gases. The gas cylinders in the cluster devices shall comply with the provisions of GB 5099, and have the same nominal working pressure, diameter and volume. The nominal working pressure range is 8 MPa to 30 MPa. The nominal water volume of a single gas cylinder shall not exceed 150 L, and the total water volume of the gas cylinders in the cluster device shall be less than or equal to 3,000 L. The operating temperature of the cluster device is -40 ℃ to 60 ℃. For cluster devices used to fill oxygen, the nominal working pressure shall not exceed 20 MPa.
This standard does not apply to cluster devices filled with gases with a toxicity level of toxic or highly toxic, nor to cluster devices filled with fire-fighting gases and those fixed on vehicles for use.
