Scope
This document describes the test methods for medium- and low-power internal combustion engines (with a rated power not exceeding 560 kW).
This document is applicable to medium- and low-power internal combustion engines used in road vehicles, ships, agricultural tractors, forestry machinery, construction machinery, generator sets, and irrigation-drainage machinery (hereinafter referred to as "internal combustion engines"). Other medium- and low-power internal combustion engines for which no applicable standards are currently available should refer to this document for implementation.
